"FIXING
NEW LAWN MEMORIALS TO THE NAMM
CODE
OF WORKING PRACTICE"
We

COURSE
DESCRIPTION
The
course is designed to prepare candidates for the successful completion
of the BRAMM Fixer Licence test and will include a comprehensive study
of the NAMM Code of Working Practice and how it relates to the new British
Standard BS8415.
An
in-depth theoretical induction as to what will be expected on the BFL
test day will include Health & Safety aspects leading to the generation
of professional Risk Assessment documentation. The course also includes
a practical 'hands on' demonstration and guidance as to what will be expected
on the BFL test day and provide a comprehensive understanding of accredited
ground anchors and how they are applied etc.
Candidates
will be responsible for providing their own personal protective clothing/equipment
for the day and these must include ear defenders, goggles, gloves and
protective footwear.

"DEVELOPING
A HEALTH & SAFETY MANUAL"
A
one-day ‘hands on' training course designed for those small businesses
employing between 5 and 25 people.
This
course will be run by George Morris of The Safety Company Ltd. George
has many years experience working with companies
large and small helping them to understand their obligations and
responsibilities with regards Health & Safety and showing them in
simple no-nonsense terms how to meet them. This course has been tailored
to the needs of masons, an area where again, George has extensive experience.
The
objective of the course is to provide guidance and issue of a formatted
safety manual. The course will include instruction on how to complete
the manual to enable it to be used as a management tool.
This
very cost effective course will be run at NAMM's new head office training
school in Castle Mews, Rugby.
Course
cost including refreshment & lunch is £450 + VAT per delegate.
