What is the MAB Levy?

The MAB Levy is a voluntary contribution towards the Memorial Awareness Board's campaign to promote stone memorialisation.  It is collected by wholesale memorial masons and paid by retail memorial masons and amounts to just 1% of their material costs.

MAB's campaigns are designed to raise awareness of memorialisation issues, assert the rights of memorial masons, and to increase memorial sales.

Why is the Levy important?

Quite simply because without the Levy, MAB could not run its campaign - a campaign designed to improve your future business and income.

This year alone, the Levy funded publicity which resulted in over 150 million people seeing or hearing, seeing or reading items about MAB campaigns.

How do I collect the Levy?

Many wholesalers add the 1% levy automatically to their invoices.  This money is then forwarded onto MAB at regular intervals.
